As a part of its annual survey on the performance of the Indian IT-BPO industry, NASSCOM released the annual rankings for three categories including ‘Top 15 BPO Companies in India’ for FY08-09.
The top three slots was once again taken by Genpact, WNS and IBM Daksh. The list however did not take into account companies whose corporate headquarters were located outside India, but have significant India-based delivery capabilities. Had they been ranked based on their India revenues, companies such as Convergys and Sutherland Global Services would have also appeared in this list a statement from Nasscom said.
Here is the list of the Top 15 BPO Companies in India. 1) Genpact; 2) WNS; 3) IBM Daksh; 4) Wipro BPO; 5) TCS BPO; 6) Firstsource Solutions; 7) aditya Birla Minacs Worldwide; 8) Aegis BPO; 9) Infosys BPO; 10) HCL BPO; 11) EXL Service.com; 12) Intelenet Global Services; 13) Hinduja Global Solutions; 14) 24/7 Customer; 15) Mphasis BPO.
Nasscom also released the trends and estimates for FY 09-10:
* FY09-10 Export revenue projected to grow at 4-7% to reach $48-50 billion
* Domestic IT-BPO market to reach Rs 650-670 billion growing at 15-18 %
* Core markets, North America and BFSI started to stabilize
* Decision making starting to happen – but buyers remain cautious; large deals missing
* Analysts continue to downgrade IT spending for 2009
