Genpact has been named the leader in full service end-to-end procurement outsourcing by the Brown-Wilson Group’s 2009 ranking also known as the Black Book of Outsourcing. This marks the third consecutive year that Genpact has been recognised as the top Procurement BPO provider.

The Black Book ranking is based on surveys of more than 2,800 senior procurement supply chain professionals who are asked to evaluate their vendor relationships based on 18 key performance indicators. Genpact’s top place ranking was based upon a number of factors including highest marks in the areas of vendor overall preference, innovation, training, breadth of offerings, delivery excellence, reliability, support, customer care and others.

“We’re extremely pleased by this recognition of our ongoing commitment to deliver best in class procurement services,” said Navanit Samaiyar, senior vice president, procurement and supply chain services, Genpact. “At Genpact, we work closely with global clients to continuously enhance their procurement processes in order to maximise value and ensure the highest-possible quality in service delivery. This ranking reflects their positive response to that effort and we sincerely appreciate this recognition.”

“Procurement outsourcing continues to be one of the fastest growing sectors of the outsourcing market. The companies included on this year’s Black Book ranking are the leaders in helping global corporations derive maximum value from this critically important aspect of their business,” said Doug Brown, managing partner, Brown-Wilson Group.

Brown further added, “Genpact’s top position in this category for the third consecutive year is a reflection of not only the value its clients place in its commitment to innovation, but also its dedication to serving their evolving needs.”
