MphasiS has appointed Ganesh Murthy as its new chief financial officer, effective 15 July 2009. Murthy takes over from Susanto Banerjee, who has been acting as interim CFO since January 2008 and has decided to leave the company.

Ganesh Murthy has 23 years of experience working in finance across diverse industries. Since 2004, he has been worldwide finance director of global delivery application services at HP. He has also worked with companies like Wipro, Texas Instruments, Gillette, ITC and Thomson. Murthy is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
