Agile Financial Technologies launches India operations to tap into domestic outsourcing in the BFSI Industry. It will commence its operations in Mumbai before moving to other cities.
"There are tremendous opportunities in the current context for holistic technology firms within the BFSI sector in India. The sector is facing challenges due to the economic impact of the liquidity crisis which will require the industry to relook at its IT strategy and current usage of software and technology," said Kalpesh Desai, CEO at Agile FT.
We have a strong go-to-market strategy with offerings that are flexible and will help the sector realize its full potential, from pure software solutions to full-fledged on-shore management services, said Desai. Agile FT has acquired and merged the insurance software business division of India-based Access Information Systems, a niche player in the core insurance space.
This will enable Agile FT to position its core insurance and bank assurance software products in the domestic sector, where the company sees significant growth opportunities, according to company press release.
